Description
Drexel University's Stephen and Sandra Sheller 11th Street Health Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. This role involves delivering competent, caring, and cost-effective healthcare while supporting a trauma-informed system of care.
- Provide a wide spectrum of primary care services to patients of all ages
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, both simple and complex
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from a Nurse Practitioner Program
- Five years prior experience as an RN and/or Nurse Practitioner in designated specialty
- Current RN and APN licenses from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Current nationally recognized advanced practice certification (or in progress)
- Current DEA license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years outpatient experience
- Bilingual skills
- Cultural competency and sensitivity
- Understanding of psychosocial impacts of health outcomes in underserved communities
