How long does it take to become an RN?
There is no single national duration. BLS identifies bachelor’s, associate, and approved diploma entry routes. Program calendars, transfer credit, clinical scheduling, examination, and board processing determine the actual time.
How long does it take to be a nurse if I am already a CNA?
Only the nursing program can determine which prior courses or training satisfy its admission and degree requirements. Request a written transfer evaluation, then follow the applicable NCLEX and board process.
How long is an LPN to RN bridge?
Length depends on admitted credit, degree outcome, cohort sequence, clinical placement, and school calendar. The values in this planner are editable planning assumptions, not a national duration.
Does graduation make me an RN?
No. You become an RN when a board of nursing issues a license after you pass NCLEX-RN and meet that board’s other requirements.
Is part-time nursing school twice as long?
This planner applies a 1.5 modeling multiplier. It does not describe a particular program. Use the school catalog and admissions confirmation for the official calendar.
Does this simulator admit me to a nursing program?
No. It models a sequence using disclosed assumptions. Admissions, credit, clinical seats, examination authorization, and licenses are controlled by schools and boards.
