How the checklist works
How remaining courses are counted
- 1
Pick ADN, BSN, or ABSN
Each track shows only the courses commonly attached to that path.
- 2
Check off completed courses
Unchecked items stay in the remaining list. Nothing is sent to a server.

Confirm the school catalog
This checklist is a planning prompt, not a requirements list. Verify every course, lab, transfer, recency, grade, testing, and admission rule in the current program catalog and with admissions in writing.
Verification method
Replace every prompt with program-owned requirements
Start with the current catalog, then ask admissions to confirm transfer credit, labs, recency, grades, tests, deadlines, and clinical eligibility in writing. This planning surface was substantively reviewed August 17, 2026; no school-specific requirement is represented as verified. Next review November 17, 2026.

Nursing prerequisites FAQ
What prerequisites do I need for nursing school?
There is no universal list. Use these course names only as prompts while checking the current catalog for each program you are considering.
Are ADN and BSN prerequisites the same?
Requirements can overlap, but the exact courses, labs, credits, grades, and recency rules belong to each program. Compare the official catalogs directly.
Do CNA classes count as nursing prerequisites?
Only the program can evaluate prior training and coursework. Request a written transfer or prerequisite evaluation before assuming any course is satisfied.
How recent do science courses need to be?
Recency rules are program-specific. Ask admissions to evaluate the exact course, completion date, credits, and lab before retaking it.
Can I finish prerequisites online?
Acceptance is program-specific and may differ for lecture and lab components. Obtain written confirmation before enrolling.
Does this checklist admit me to a nursing program?
No. Admissions decisions, minimum grades, TEAS or other tests, and waitlists belong to the school.
